Wastebusters is open 9am to 5pm every day this summer, except Christmas Day.
For those last minute Secret Santa presents, or something special for yourself, shop secondhand first and find something you love at Wasties. Plus, we have gift vouchers for the Wasties’ treasure hunters in your life.
If you find yourself with a bit more household recycling over the holidays, you can recycle it with us for only $3 a crate in Wanaka (it helps cover the cost of handling and freight to the reprocessor). Household recycling dropped off to us in Alexandra is free, as we have a contract with Central Otago District Council.
We can take:
– cardboard, paper, cans
– glass bottle and jars
– plastic bottles #1 (clear only)
– plastic bottles & containers #2 (clear + coloured)
– plastic containers #5 (clear + coloured)
