Composting 101 Workshops

May 11 @ 5:30 pm

Come and celebrate International Composting Week with the Dr. Compost team at QLDC Libraries!

In this free composting workshop you will learn the basics of starting to compost in your own home so that you can reduce waste and feed your soil! Healthy soil grows healthy plants, and a great way to feed your soil (and reduce your waste) is by composting your kitchen scraps and garden waste.

Join Nicola from the Dr. Compost team to learn about the three easy composting methods – traditional backyard composting (hot and cold), Bokashi bins and worm farms. This event is perfect for anyone who would like to start their composting journey!

Wānaka Library – Thurs, 11 May at 5.30pm
