Electrical Repair Day

Is your toaster toasted? Or perhaps your laptop’s not charging tip-top? Whatever the issue, visit Wasties to see if our fixing wizards can give your beloved electronics another lease on life!
Join us in the Wastebusters Wānaka front yard from 10am – 2pm on Saturday February 11 for all your electrical fixing needs.
We’ll be joined by registered electrician Russell Stephens and our regular fixing superhero Greg Fawcett. These two will have a go at fixing anything in the realms of electrical appliances and electronics.
**Please note** the ability to repair is dependent on the complexity of the repair, the time it will take, and the availability of parts. We may not be able to complete some repairs, but all items brought in will be assessed by our fixing wizards. If we can’t repair it, we’ll give you some ideas on what you can do instead.
There will be a subsidised charge depending on the repair, which will be discussed with the repairer prior to commencing any fixing.
Our onsite repair event series is funded by QLDC’s Waste Minimisation Fund and delivered by Wastebusters to make repair more accessible, reduce waste and save your treasures from landfill.
