Wool is the ultimate winter wardrobe superhero, it’s warm, breathable, and oh-so cosy. Made from natural fibres, it needs a little love and care to stay in top condition. And the good news? When treated well, wool can last a lifetime.
Here are our top tips to keep your favourite woolly pieces looking their best.
- Fold, don’t hang: Hanging woolly jumpers can cause them to stretch out of shape, so fold them instead.
- Keep moths at bay: Cedar blocks, lavender pouches, and bay leaves are great natural moth repellents.
- Gentle is best: Wash with cold water, either by hand or on a delicate cycle.
- Check the label: Wool garments often have specific care instructions, so be sure to follow them.
