Sunday 14 April – Wānaka Community Workshop & Fabricate

Sunday 5 May – Wānaka Community Workshop & Fabricate

Welcome back, repair enthusiasts! It’s time to dust off those beloved items awaiting a second chance at life because the Repair Revolution is back in action this autumn. Gather ’round for a community-powered event where broken treasures meet their superhero repairers, all for free or by koha.

Whether you’re a seasoned repair pro or just curious about fixing things, everyone’s invited to join the fun. Connect with neighbours and fellow fixing enthusiasts.

Give your beloved possessions a new lease on life with our skilled repair superheroes. From punctured bikes to toasters that have lost their spark, we’re here to mend it all. Bring along clothes with tears and rips, bags with broken zips, wonky toys, and small furniture in need of TLC. Remember – no broken treasure left behind!

While you wait for your treasures to be restored, enjoy a feel-good day out with games and activities. Pull up a chair, sit with your repairer, and maybe even learn a new skill or two!

Are you handy with a needle, a hammer, or a soldering iron? Whether you can darn a sock or perform intricate repairs, we’d love to have you join our team of volunteer repair superheroes.  Every skill level is welcome!

Join us for a day of community, camaraderie, and care as we bring back the joy of fixing things together. Because at Wastebusters, broken doesn’t mean forgotten—it means it’s time for a repair revolution!
