The Government has proposed banning single use plastic bags – but they want to hear what you think. It’s not a done deal, so it’s well worth putting in a submission.
You can do a submission in as little as five minutes, and you’re welcome to use the Plastic Bag Free Wanaka/Wastebusters submission as a starting point. Adding in your own stories and comments will make your submission more powerful.
Submissions are due September 14th at 5pm. You can make a submission online or email your submission to plasticshoppingbags.submissions@mfe.govt.nz.
