What’s an iceberg doing in Wanaka? No iceberg here, it’s part of a loadout of 2.2 tonnes of polystrene we sent off to be recycled this month. We’re one of the few recyclers who handle polystyrene, and we’ve got a special machine which crushes and compresses it by 40 times.
We don’t make money on it – but we do it to reduce waste going to landfill. This load out was the equivalent of 4400 fish boxes – so you can see why we make the effort!
