In the days preceding the UN Climate conference in Paris, there will be marches all over the world to support clean energy and clean jobs, a safe climate, and to care for people and nature.
Join the international community calling for greater action on climate change by world leaders. Meet from 1 pm at the Dinosaur Park to get ready for the march with face painting, banner making and food stalls. At 2pm, we’ll walk and bike along the lake to the most famous tree in Wanaka (at the West end of Roys Bay) where we’ll take a photo to encourage the world leaders to be climate champions.
Bring signs, musical instruments, your family, your brightest clothes and your passion for clean energy and a safe climate.
