This months craft night is a little bit different and very exciting, I have been having a bit of a cull in the shop and have lots of random bits and pieces at my disposal. for example – old dollies, pockets off clothes, lace, ties, buttons, broken bits of jewellery, scrap material, tin, satchels and much more. So I put my thinking cap on and decided to have a go at personalizing a bag.
I discovered that not only was it fun, but the possibilities are endless and it is very easy to get carried away. You could take it a step further and accessorize by adding a coin purse, phone pouch or note pad, following the theme of your bag.
The end result is that you have a bag that is a one off original, of your own personal design, it will be completely unique to you and everyone will want to know where you got it from.
It doesn’t matter what your age or skill level I think every one will enjoy this. So come down to Wastebusters on 20 March at 6pm and join in the creative crafty fun. And don’t forget the $5 donation for materials.
