What an amazing craft night! Our theme was making your own original jewellery and there were some amazing unique pieces created. The materials used included keyboard letters, vintage stamps, beads, dismantled jewellery and dominos, and the creations got wilder and more creative as the evening wore on.
NO Craft Night in December as too close to Christmas. Next Craft Night will be Wed Jan 17th, 6-8pm, all welcome.
Our jewellery-making craft night was a hit with a good crew, the youngest being seven and the oldest being me! I was very impressed by everyone’s standard of craftiness. We had an array of tools and fastenings on the table to share. Things were being pulled apart and remade into other things. It was fun to help, watch and see things evolve. People went home with their own pieces of jewellery to keep and give away, and they knew how to do it by themselves in the future.
Thank you all for coming – I hope to see you at our next craft night which will be held in the new year.
