Another epic clean-up this year for Keep New Zealand Beautiful week with lots of Wanaka volunteers out cleaning up streets and verges. Several groups commented on how clean our roadsides are – that might reflect the lack of fast food chains in town, not to mention the pride in our town. Tally of bags handed back to Wastebuters so far – 22 bags of recycing, 45 bags of rubbish. Thanks to all our trusty volunteers!
