We’ve just done the annual accounts and we came in with a surplus and put $1.2 million into Wanaka’s economy. We’ve managed to keep on 25 staff, but we’re still gutted to have lost four full-time workers plus casuals. Our priorities are improving the recycling centre, and doing more education for sustainability like Enviroschools, Dr Compost and the Unpackit Awards. Read the press release or the ODT article.
