Last Wednesday Matt Plant came in and helped us make clocks – this was his brain child and I for one was super impressed with what was made. This has to be one of the best workshops we have had. Everyone who came worked hard and went home with a fabulous clock made from bike parts, frisbees, records, circular saw pieces and other bits and bobs.
We had a lot of clocks in the shop that were not selling so we took the mechanism and hands off those as our working pieces.
Everything that was used was sourced from the recycle center.
Out of the 7 people who came to the class 3 of them were kids aged around the 10 to 13.
A great big thank you to Matt for coming in and sharing his knowledge, without which we wouldn’t have achieved what we did.
