I hope you all enjoyed the festive season as much as I did, and now feel well rested and ready to kick off the new year with some more creative craftyness.
Last year was filled with amazing pieces of art and craft and I think we should kick off the new year with a bit of candle making. So put on your thinking caps and start saving interesting gimmicky containers e.g teacups and saucers, jugs, glasses etc, anything that will hold wax for a candle.
25th January, 6-8pm, @ Wastebusters, $5 koha
Maybe pop down to Wanaka Wastebusters and find the perfect candle container. We are even going to make our own wicks for our crafty candles.
Save any candles that can be melted down and revamped into new and more exciting candles and look out for the next exciting installment of some examples that I have made.
